Yes, I know it's been a while but I'm back. I've just been soooooo busy with school I haven't had time to take pictures until recently.
Anyway, this picture was taken in Omaha Nebraska on April 9th of this year. I was putting on my Red Caboose costume and make-up in to go and see Starlight Express yet again. I had decided to see what taking a picture from the angle it was looked like. My bestest friend (who was going to see the show with me) offered to take the photo for me.
I'm rather impressed with the way it turned out.

I took this picture up in Northfield, MN when I went to visit my brother at college.
Doesn't this scene sort of give you chills? It does for me.
Absolutely no one was out and about when I took this. Yet a street away, there were cars and people moving up and down it making noise..

I went and saw Seussical last night and the night before. These are the pictures I took last night at the stage door. All the actors that I talked to remembered me from the first night! Most likely because I sat right up in the first row where they could see me easily. 
Aren't John, Steve, and Charlie FINE?  They play the Wickersham Brothers (the monkeys that tease and are cruel to Horton) and my favorite characters. All three were pretty surprised to hear I was a fan. Charlie even said, "But we're evil!" Guess I just have a thing for evil characters. Espescially if the evil characters are played by such good-looking guys. 
UPDATE: I was informed that the lady in the first photo was not who I said it was, but rather Kinnie Dye. Sorry aout that  and thanks 'Mr. Mayor' for pointing that out to me. I've made that correction.

LPO Pyrimid

Here in college, I'm in a sorority called Lambda Phi Omega (LPO). Every year around Homcoming time we, along with the other two sororities and the fraternity on campus get together for the annuel "Greek Olympics". In this photo, some of the girls of LPO are practicing for the Pyrimid event.
I chose this phot because it shows college Greek life in what the do best, Monkey Around!

This is want I do when I'm stuck inside on cold, snowy winter days and find myself starting to get "Cabin Fever". It's my collection of Starlight Express CDs. I have both London offficial recordings, the German official recording, German live recording, and Spanish live recording shown here. Since the picture was taken I've also gotten more.
I listen when I feel "Cabin Fever" hitting. play through one set (there's 2 CDs each), one right after the other, over and over again until the mood dissapears.

I have a huge obession with old trains (well I guess most of you might call it that. Though I don't see it that way.)
Anyway, the I used photo for this weeks theme is a black & white version of an old coach I discovered (it's also been cropped). I've got a colored version in my second entry on this site. Check it out and tell me which you like better.

I picked this photo because we are all in costume. Not who we truly are. This photo was taken July 22nd backstage in the greenroom during intermission of Starlight Express. It's a musical by Andrew Llyod Webber, creator of CATS and Evita. It's also 'Surperficial' in another way because Caboose is the character in the show that is only nice when it benifits him. Underneath it all he's slightly insane. I'm sorry that the photo isn't the greatest ....

My Cats

These are my cats.
Corky's the big tomcat and Takomo's the tiny queen.
We got Corky at the Humane Society and Takomo just happened upon our deck last winter.
They were both kittens when we got them. I wanna say Corky is three now and Takomo is one or there about.
